Curious minds. Confident hearts.

Our preschool blends hands-on discovery with a research-based curriculum. Children explore literacy, math, science, and art through real materials and meaningful projects.

The experience

Learning that feels like discovery

Three- and four-year-olds learn best by doing. Our classrooms are organized into learning centers where children choose meaningful work: building, measuring, reading, creating, and investigating.

Teachers guide small groups through phonics, early math, and science, and they nurture the social skills that matter just as much: listening, cooperating, and expressing feelings with words.

Group size: Teacher-to-child ratios that meet Missouri licensing requirements for preschool.

Questions parents ask

Good to know

Is your preschool play-based or academic?

Both. We use play as the vehicle for academic learning, so children build real skills while staying joyful and engaged.

Does my child need to be potty trained?

Preschoolers should be potty trained, meaning two weeks without accidents. If your child is still learning, talk with us during your tour.

How do you share progress?

Through daily communication, weekly themed lesson plans you can see, and regular observations and assessments of your child's growth.

Come see what makes Toomerland different.

Tours are private, unhurried, and led by our family. Walk the classrooms, meet the teachers, and ask every question on your list.
